Námskeið

Lögmannafélag Íslands og dómstólasýslan standa fyrir námskeiði fyrir dómkvadda matsmenn. Farið verður yfir hlutverk matsmanna og starf þeirra frá dómkvaðningu og þar til þeir skila matsgerð og/eða mæta fyrir dóm. Þá verður farið yfir ákvæði einkamálalaga sem varða störf matsmanna og samningu matsgerða, undirbúning matsfunda, uppsetningu matsgerða og störf á vettvangi. Í lok síðari námskeiðsdags verður haldið í Héraðsdóm Reykjavíkur þar sem héraðsdómari mun upplýsa nánar um samskipti dómkvaddra matsmanna við dómstólana og svara spurningum.  

Námskeiðið er ætlað öllum þeim sem hafa verið matsmenn eða vilja gefa kost á sér sem matsmenn fyrir dómi á sínu sérsviði, s.s. ... 

The course provides for a comprehensive overview of the legal considerations one has to make when dealing with the drafting and negotiation process of international contracts. The differences between the major legal systems are outlined and comparisons are made on a country-by-country level. Furthermore, the course both provides for a better understanding of the overall structure of an International Contract and gives the participants an overview of the main clauses used. Finally, the course makes the participants more familiar with terminology used in International Contracts. 

The course is set-up in a very practical way; participants will be preparing and discussing assignments together.
